Behringer umc202hd mono microphone ???

Hi All

I am the happy owner of a Behringer umc202hd and is very happy to use it whit my anan-100d at the LF side and whit the JBL studio speaker it realy sound good

The proble is that I use my Anan 100d as remote operation and I have try to use my UMC202HD whit my Behringer B-1 mic but it fail many time
if I use my 5$ soundcard whit my heil hedset there is no fail ,it works 100%

the sound is "chraking" when I use the umc202 + B1 and I have try to downgrade the soundcard to 16bit 4800khz 2channel but there is still fail.... if I take the 5$ souncard it run 16bit 4800khz but 1channel mono

so is there any one who use the UMC202HD whit there ANAN-100d and can get the souncard to do mono signal on the mic ???

The problem has nothing to do with stereo vs. mono.

Post screen shots of your UMC202HD control panel, your VAC1 setup, and your Windows Sound Control Panel advanced settings for the Behringer microphone input.

as I write the setup run ok whit the 5$ soundcard UAC-3 no problem but when I use Bheringer UMC202HD + B-1 mic I can start a qso and afeter 2-3 tx periode it sound "cracking" and then I can transmit 1 more time and it is bad agn....

Need to see your VAC1 setup screen (Thetis or PowerSDR), and you Windows Sound Control Panel advanced setup screens for all of your audio devices, VAC and Behringer.

Sorry Ben, but you did not show the Windows Sound Control Panel advanced settings, the tab that shows the channels and sample rates on each VAC and UMC device.

Also need to see your remaud settings.

I'm assuming that PowerSDR is running on the PC that is local to the ANAN hardware.

Where I'm going with this is that you want to set ALL audio devices EVERYWHERE in the chain to 16 bit, 48KHz. Number of channels doesn't matter so much.

Most but not all of that looks to be at 16 bit, 48KHz. Get it ALL running at that rate. Set everything to stereo (don't worry that you don't have more than one channel coming out of the Behringer). And try 8KHz on RemAud because it is a nice multiple of 48KHz.

That should help. After that it's just going to be experimenting with buffer sizes.

so now I wil only use the UMC202hd for RX sound and the cheap 5$ soundcard for TX

Today I got from ebay a 48v Phantom PSU and I connected my Behringer B-1 to the PSU and then a cable in to the MIC input at my PC'motherboard....now it is running whit no error
