I've had the 100 and 200d and left my audio settings the same for both of them and had the same audio output thru with my software mixer. With my 8000 ive had to increase the Mic gain on the radio almost double and redo my EQ to have the same audio output? Also ive not been able to use the rear audio input I can't get it to work, have to use the front. I thought these were suppose to be the same ? Anybody else run into this? Thanks

The rear panel mic input is identical to that on the front panels of the 200D (and the others as well, although they use jumpers to adjust configuration).

What kind of microphone are you using and how is it wired, i.e what signals are on the tip, ring and sleeve?

If it's a dynamic mic, did you remember to turn on mic boost?
