I am getting a low frequency noise on my transmit audio. The noise sounds like a low pitch whine. I can hear
the noise on headphones attached to the G2 and a second receiver.
I am using Thetis and a Heil PR781 and a MXL BCD1, I have verified the cables are wired correctly, I ordered a second
set of cables just to be sure. I tried another computer, also tried using ASIO driver same results.
I have tried reloading different versions of Thetis from scratch, I have upgraded the firmware on the G2. I tried varying
the mike gain, once it was lowered to the point where no more audio from the mike came in, the noise stayed the same
regardless of the mike gain.
I also noticed when I enable the 20db mike boost more noise is introduced, I know the 2 microphones are low output
so I need a large amount of gain to make them usable. The 20 db boost is unusable with these microphones so I have
been using an outboard mike amp, (this was removed for the noise test).
Has anyone noticed the problem with the 20db boost and or the low frequency whine on the tx audio?

Re: G2 tx audio problem
I just tried the audiotest, I can still hear a little bit of the noise without the 20db boost enabled,
when I enable the boost the noise is very audible, I tried it with and without the mike connected.

Re: G2 tx audio problem
OK, it is not RF related. There is no RF present in that test. Power supply maybe?
