Looking for the input level for the 10mhz reference input on the Anan 7000dle?

Don't know what the design level is, but a TTL square wave works fine here.

What reference level are you using?

Apparently you missed the very first sticky topic in this very sub-forum:

All: I have deleted most of this topic because it has become a non-technically relevant, public slagging match. The answer appears in the topic at the link I provided.

In the interest of keeping the slagging stopped, the specific post in the topic that has the answer is:

https://apache-labs.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=2499&start=60#p5969

And the quote from that post is:

"With respect to appropriate input levels for an external reference, I find that anything between +7 and +13dBm works. Below +7 I've observed inconsistent performance. Levels above +13dBm could put the input differential amplifier circuit at risk for damage."

Note that is as measured into a 50 Ohm impedance.

My Trimble Thunderbolt puts out a +12.3 dbm sine wave into 50 ohms.
It would be obviously much higher if unterminated.
The reference input to the Orion board is unterminated and I installed a jumper strap on JP22, (50 ohm termination) to keep the input level from being too high and possibly causing any damage to the squaring circuit.
