I hate to beat a dead horse because i`ve read through the various Network issue threads....but here goes because i`m out of ideas

Brand new 7K black about 4 hours out of the box
I can not get this to be found on the network

What has been done so far:
Unplugged perfectly working 10E (on LAN)
Different cables even tho the one was working on the 10
Fresh clean installs of both MRX and Thetis(2.8.11 works with P1)
2 different computers
Bootloader grabs the MAC instantly like it should with switch on and not with switch off proving switch works.
Programmer (2.0.4.0) absolutely nothing on the 7K but will find the 10E like it should.
Direct connected with a dedicated NIC or on the LAN no difference
RJ45 shows linked and some data
Wrote static IP via bootloader nope and will read back IP correctly....set back to DHCP...Nope
Will not ping at all

I`m at a loss...Help guys...Not My first rodeo with these but this has me stumped.
Anything i`m missing ?

Check the switch located in the bottom part, it could be in bootloader mode

Number 5 of "things tried"

Have you tried the v1 Programmer? Maybe it has p1 installed? Mine shipped in June with p1 on it.

While I was under the assumption that they are all shipping with P1 as of right now, You do bring a valid point to the table and its worth a look....The question still remains that it had been on both networks....a gigi and a 10/100....static and dhcp on both and still a no show...Yet will pull the MAC via the boot loader so there is some communication.

Problem solved....It was a corrupt firmware issue and... I will admit that I forgot about having to rename the .rbf to "Metis"
Finally loaded perfectly all good and working fine.
