I recently had the opportunity to interact with Apache Labs' new US-based operation center, and I am pleased to share my positive experience. My 3-year-old 7000 MK III stopped receiving signals, and after attempting the obvious fixes, it became clear that it was a hardware issue. I called the new customer service number and left a message. To my surprise, Tony called me back within an hour and provided clear instructions for shipping and returning the unit for repair.
In addition to addressing the repair of my 7000 MK III, I had also placed an order for a new G2 on their website. Tony was very helpful in providing information about my order status, including where it was in the queue and when I could expect to receive it.
Having dealt with Apache Labs in the past, I can confidently say that their customer service has greatly improved. Previously, the customer service experience was somewhat lacking, but the new US-based team has made a significant difference. I am extremely pleased with the prompt and professional service I received.
Thank you, Apache Labs, for addressing and correcting your customer service shortcomings. I look forward to continuing to use your products and services.
Sincerely, Vin KD1GA

Re: New US Based Operation
There does not appear to be any phone numbers listed on the Apache website. Or did I overlook it? Is there a link to the phone number available?
Also, out of curiosity, where did you have to ship the ANAN for repair? California or Arkansas?

To Doug in AR.
Need to call first for RMA.
Its located under G2 in the products section, sort of hidden away for sure.

Re: New US Based Operation
It appears Doug is repairing older SDR's and tony in Cal handles the G2's and newer.

Wow, that's a terrible place for the phone number.
Interesting that G2 repairs are going to CA.

Re: New US Based Operation
Ok that's strange , I been calling for a few days no answer, left a message no respond , I left a post here today about an issue I'm having with a brand new G2 ULTRA no one replies either , don't know what it takes to get help.
Re: New US Based Operation
For a long time now nobody from Apache itself has posted to this forum or even appears to read the forum. Therefore, unless something changes, the forum exists only for our open source software and firmware developers, and our fellow Apache owners, to help each other out.
If nobody has answered your question it is important to remember that, although we have 1800 members registered, only a small fraction of them monitor the forum regularly, only a small fraction of those are G2 users, and then only a small fraction of those might have the answer to more complex, difficult or obscure G2-related questions. The G2 is unique in many ways compared to the older models and the forum is still building it's repository of G2 knowledge.

I agree it should be listed on the front page. I think they did it this way to segregate service for the G2 and the older generation of radios. I called that number early last week and talked to Tony about a couple of things. I left a message and he called me a short time later. Depending on where someone is calling from, it could be several hours to get a response for US callers due to time difference from where one is located and west coast time. ( and the hours they have posted for calls)
