Hi all,
just a week ago I got my brand new G2 (without frontend). As for the manual, the power-down procedure should be to tap the power button once, then colour of the ring should change from pink to white. Then, I should wait for about 15 seconds and finally hold down the power botton for some seconds to make the internal computer power down entirely.
Now I experienced that on tapping the button to power down, the colour of the ring doesn't change but the entire G2 shuts down immediately.
Any idea if that this is correct? Could it even be harmful? I'm a bit of an old fashioned linux user who is still aware of the fact that particularly linux stations are not really happy about power cuts...

Re: G2 strange power down behaviour
Have also strange behavior with my G2 It always need 2 short tap on power button to change colour then longer push to shot of.
It is a irritating procedure When not having the G2 in front of you. It would be better with 2 separate buttons if that could work.
