Having more than one Thetis program on desktop at a time

Hello all, I have the latest version of Thetis for my Anan 7000DLE installed. Is it possible to install the version of Thetis for the Hermes lite 2 on the same machine? I would like to play around with the Hermes Lite sometime. Right now, the Thetis program for the 7000DLE is installed at
:\Program Files\OpenHPSDR\Thetis\Thetis.exe. Can the Hermes file be renamed or put somewhere else so I can have both programs on my desktop and select either one? BTW, the Hermes file is a .msi file just like the one for the 7000DLE. Please excuse me as I am not that computer literate.

Below is how it can be done, but the new database manager can create a separate database for each radio I believe but have not explored this.

Say that Thetis is installed on your C drive, two directories you are going to be working with are :C\Program Files\OpenHPSDR and C:\Users\your name\AppData\Roaming\OpenHPSDR

Good practice is to first export a copy of your database and make a backup copy of Thetis and the data folder so you can revert back if need be.

1. Rename Thetis folder in C\Program Files\OpenHPSDR to say ANAN21036 if using version 2.10.3.6
2. Leave the original and Rename the copy of Thetis-x64 folder in C\Users\your name\AppData\Roaming\OpenHPSDR to say ANAN21036_db
the reason for leaving the original Thetis-x64 is to save time in not having to create a new Wisdom file when you install the MI0BOT Thetis for HL2.

3. Rename shortcut to say ANAN21036

4. Edit shortcut to point to the precise data file location.
Target:
"C:\Program Files\OpenHPSDR\ANAN21036\Thetis.exe" -datapath:"%appdata%\OpenHPSDR\ANAN21036_db"
Start in:
"C:\Program Files\OpenHPSDR\ANAN21036"

Critical part is to have a space between the (Thetis.exe" -datapath)

Start Thetis to make sure all is working, if good install the HL2 variant.

You can do the above edits for the new install or leave alone.

Hope this makes sense.
Also hope that it is obsolete with the new database manager.

I still use the CLI to select the proper database. But I also add another layer, I take the Thetis.exe and copy it in the same dir to say Thetis2.exe and use that for the second instance. But I am running 2 Thetis instances simultaneously, 1 for a 7000DLE and one for a TRX-DUO.

I got both running now but I have to run an older version for the HL2 that does not have the new database manager. The new database manager in the latest HL2 version overwrites the Anan database.

I don't have that problem, using 2.10.3.6rc1 for ANAN and latest HL2 release.
