How do I adjust my mic audio gain in Thetis when cmASIO is enabled? I've tried everything I can think of and nothing seems to have any effect.
I can adjust my mic strip and bus sliders in VM Potato but I can't find any adjustments inside of Thetis.

Don't worry, Mark, you are not missing anything! There is no way to adjust mic gain using cmASIO. Every other audio function works, but not mic gain. Therefore the input level to Thetis has to be adjusted externally. Since it is assumed that most folks who are using cmASIO are probably using a USB audio interface, the best place to set gain is right there in the interface with the front panel mic gain adjustment.
If you are using Voicemeeter than obviously that's another place to adjust the mic level.
And, referring to the diagram in this old thread that I should probably update sometime,

you can use the Preamp slider control in the Transmit Equalizer to make adjustments, also. Be sure to enable the TX EQ button, of course.
Edited 25 Feb 2025: it would appear my post above is superseded by those below. The mic gain slider on the main console does work for cmASIO, and the bugs have undoubtedly been fixed by now.
If you are using Voicemeeter than obviously that's another place to adjust the mic level.

Thanks, I was beginning to think maybe I was losing my mind, lol. That's a great idea to use the preamp slider in the TX EQ, as I've already pretty much maxed out the gain in my mic stream in VM Potato because I'm occasionally seeing some red in the bar meter in the VM output bus.

Well, there's a small bug in Thetis that manifests itself if cmASIO is enabled.
It appears to be an issue with the state of the Mic button at Thetis startup. If the Mic button is not enabled, the Mic slider has no effect on mic gain. However, once the user presses the Mic button the gain slider becomes effective, and subsequent toggling of the Mic button will enable/disable the mic stream in Thetis.
Richie is aware and says it will be fixed in the next Release.
