Anan 7000 MKII / PA Failure?

Hi,

Was in the middle of a QSO today, running Anan 7000 DLE MKII, Thetis v2.10.3.6 Dev 2, Protocol 2(v3.9), Dell Optiplex 7040, 64GB RAM, i7, Windows 11, which has been running flawlessly for months without issue than suddenly had a drop in output power. Running around 25watts max into an amplifier.

Have tried a clean install and fresh database and PS is not working and the power drops off slowly during transmit. Antenna is perfect. Have checked coupler and leads and all is well. Check EQ levels etc and the settings have not changed.

Anyone have any ideas, has my PA failed? Something else I could try?

Try running the rig directly to a dummy load, to confirm that it is the radio.

Hi Ed,

Have done, has made absolutely no difference, have tried reflashing the firmware, tried different versions of Thetis to no avail.

It has to be a hardware fault of some sort, but I'm not technically minded and don't think I'd be inclined to look inside the box. Shame really because where do you turn to for help with Anan as their support is out the window?

Only the help you get from fella's like you and this forum.

Not sure where to go next.
