It is recommended to uninstall any previous version before installing this one. While not mandatory, this is a best practice.
(Note: Uninstalling via Add/Remove Programs will leave your database intact. You don't need to take any specific action beyond optionally backing it up. Thetis will handle the database appropriately.)

v2.10.3.8 - Change Log

[fix] maintain delta checkbox now greyed if adjust min to noise floor is unchecked
[fix] filter view now updates when zzfl etc cat commands are used
[fix] refactored waterfall colour min/max for filterview. Fixes issues with high AGC offsets
[fix] rx2 containers will not show if rx2 is disabled and the console window is restored from a minimised state
[fix] fixed issue with DB manager, wher dbman.json would not be loaded correctly if a radio model was added/removed from the code. Now defaults to HERMES if model not found, ie HL2
[fix] vac tx gains are min/max validated. To prevent crash/error with the HL2 modified version that is able to assign mic gain to tx vac gain
[fix] fixed vfoB frequency limit issue and potential crash issue when using xvtr slot vhf0

Using 2.10.3.8 I've looked for prior answers to my following question but didn't see. Sorry if a dup.

I tranmit, the line, especially with just carrier is about 4 times as wide as before. Thought a wierd spur but width is the same no
matter what the span on display. All receive signals nice and sharp as before. I used same database as prior 10.3.5 - 4.

Signal sounds fine on monitor, so it is just a display, like a purpose wider trace than rx. Didn't see any setting to change.

Is this a new feature or am I missing something? The FFT setting in tx display are same as before.

Dear All

I run the 2.10.3.7 version of Thetis with ANAN G2 Ultra ( with screen)
The Wideband screen ( WB tab) does not work on this version
The ,Path Illustrator (PI) Tab does not show the routing , only the text

Does the new version 2.10.3.8 solve these bugs ?

Any suggestion on how to solve these two bugs?

You haven't said what version of FPGA firmware or p2app code you have: but my guess is you need to upgrade your G2 to the newest. We only added wideband display recently.

Path Illustrator in Thetis hasn't worked for several generations of hardware, and would (I imagine) be a lot of effort for little return.

Yeah, indeed. I have removed the PI menu entry for 7000/8000/G2/RedP/Anvelina in a work in progress build here.

WB: if the form does not show, then it is off screen somewhere. Hover over the Thetis icon on the taskbar, and if you see the WB form there, right click it once, select move from the pop up menu, then press an arrow key once and move the mouse about,

Just a FWIIW note. I have been running the 2.10.3.8 (12.31/24) X64 version on Win10 Home with fw10.5.0 P2 on my ANAN-100B since shortly after it was released and have noticed no problems (even the PI and WB screens seem to be working right) - up until yesterday. What happened was that when I launched, I got a message that the database had been moved and I should send a copy of some file/s (I forget what they were) to an email address that I did not recognize in the UK. The screen appeared to be a minimally configured default and only a single database (named default) showed in the dbase manager. After un-panicking a bit, I did some searching and found a pretty recent (by date) version of my database in the directory one higher than the one the launched dbase was in ("my"/appdata/roaming/OpenHpsdr/Thetis-x64/Db). I then used dbase manager to make the recent dbase active and relaunched to get my highly evolved configuration back. After doing a backup, I shutdown Thetis and moved the dbase to the lower "DB" directory and noticed there was now a back(I assume the one I had just made) up in an equal-depth "DB_Archive" directory. I relaunched and got what I wanted a couple of times, so then went back and deleted a bunch of old dbases from the Thetis -X64 directory and other places I had put backups in over the ages. Things seem to be good today too.

My questions are why might this have happened and should there have been the email directive (I think the address name had a George in it) ? I added a Win Virus scan exclusion for "my"/appdata/roaming/OpenHPSDR directory, which I did not have in place before the problem, in case Windows Security was the cause.

Update: I just noticed the MWOLGE attached in Ritchie's signature. I think that may have been part of the email address. Also, after after activating the recent dbase, I did find that the automatic AGC settings were not as they had been and had to be reset as I like them. My rx level calibration was also off and had to be redone, but I am not sure the "recent" dbase I activated was from a date after the last previous calibration I had done.
